     Sir Robert Hay-Drummond-Hay was born on 25 July 1846.1 He was the son of Sir John Drummond-Hay and Annette Adelaide Christina Carstensen.2 He married, firstly, Euphemia Katherine Willis-Fleming, daughter of Thomas Willis-Fleming, on 2 June 1868.1 He married, secondly, Grace Margarite Lethbridge, daughter of Sidney Thomas Lethbridge, on 9 June 1920.1 He died on 15 October 1926 at age 80.1
     Sir Robert Hay-Drummond-Hay was baptised with the name of Robert Drummond-Hay.1 He was Consul to Mogador in 1875.1 He was Consul to Stockholm in 1879.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He was Consul-General to Tunis between 1889 and 1894.1 He was Consul-General to Beirut between 1894 and 1907.1
