     Major Duncan Darroch, 4th of Gourock and Drums was born on 19 February 1800.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Duncan Darroch, 3rd of Gourock and Elizabeth Cotter.2 He married Susan Parker, daughter of Charles Stewart Parker, on 31 July 1829.1 He died on 13 October 1864 at age 64.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He also had an elder daughter, who died unmarried.1

     Susan Parker was the daughter of Charles Stewart Parker.2 She married Major Duncan Darroch, 4th of Gourock and Drums, son of Lt.-Gen. Duncan Darroch, 3rd of Gourock and Elizabeth Cotter, on 31 July 1829.1 She died on 14 August 1889.1
     From 31 July 1829, her married name became Darroch.

     Reverend Charles Stuart Parker Darroch was born on 22 January 1843.1 He was the son of Major Duncan Darroch, 4th of Gourock and Drums and Susan Parker.2 He married Alice Maude Pearson, daughter of Sir Edwin Pearson, in 1873.1 He died in February 1936 at age 93.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1870 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Vicar between 1880 and 1881 at Hayling Island, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1881 and 1899 at Medstead, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Vicar between 1899 and 1920 at St. Thomas, Southborough, Kent, EnglandG.1 He also had an elder and younger son (who both died young.)1
