     Hon. Augusta Anna Margaret Plunkett was the daughter of Thomas Oliver Plunkett, 12th Baron Louth and Anna Maria Roche.1 She married Colonel John Douglas Johnstone, son of Maj.-Gen. John Douglas Johnstone and Caroline O'Beirne, on 20 January 1869.1 She died on 27 August 1907.1
     From 20 January 1869, her married name became Johnstone.1

     Colonel John Douglas Johnstone was born on 13 December 1836.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Douglas Johnstone and Caroline O'Beirne.2,3 He married Hon. Augusta Anna Margaret Plunkett, daughter of Thomas Oliver Plunkett, 12th Baron Louth and Anna Maria Roche, on 20 January 1869.1 He died on 10 January 1906 at age 69.2
     Colonel John Douglas Johnstone fought in the Crimean War.2 He fought in the Abyssinian Campaign.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1899.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermanagh.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Fermanagh.2 He lived at Snow Hill, Kisbellaw, County Fermanagh, Ireland.1

     Maj.-Gen. John Douglas Johnstone was born in December 1807 at Salsberry, County Kildare, Ireland.3 He was the son of John Douglas Johnstone and Samina Yates.1,2 He married Caroline O'Beirne, daughter of Reverend Andrew O'Beirne and Louisa Wolseley, on 12 March 1830 at Rossory Church, County Fermanagh, Ireland.2,3 He died on 19 September 1863 at age 55 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1,3
     Maj.-Gen. John Douglas Johnstone fought in the Crimean War, where he lost an arm in the first attack on the Redan, 18 June 1855.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 33rd Regiment.2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).2
