     Lt.-Col. Sidney Twells Watson gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Queen's Royal Regiment.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹

     Edward Sabine Baring-Gould was born on 4 April 1843.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Baring-Gould and Mary Ann Tanner.^2,3 He died on 2 June 1906 at age 63, unmarried.¹
