     Margaret Romer was born in 1784 at Ancroft, County Durham, England.1 She was the daughter of Robert Romer and Frances Marshall.1 She died on 27 July 1860 at Freshford, Somerset, England.1

     General Robert Franck Romer was born in 1788 at Ancroft, County Durham, England.1 He was the son of Robert Romer and Frances Marshall.1 He married Emma Lambert.1 He died in December 1878 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.1
     General Robert Franck Romer gained the rank of Captain in 1835 in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was Barrack Master in 1851 at St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major-General on 29 August 1857.1 He was Barrack Master in 1861 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He retired from the military on 16 June 1866, with the rank of Major-General, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He gained the rank of General in April 1873.1

     Lt.-Col. John Romer Meadows was born on 28 February 1775.1 He was the son of John Meadows and Anne Romer.1 He married Mary Dupre in July 1812 at The Deanery, Jersey, Channel Islands.1
     Lt.-Col. John Romer Meadows gained the rank of Major in 1812 in the service of the 15th Regiment of Foot.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1819.1
