     Sir Henry Moody, 1st Bt. was born circa 1582.1 He was the son of Richard Moody and Christiana Barwick.1 He married Deborah Dunch, daughter of Walter Dunch and Deborah Pilkington, on 20 January 1606.1 He died on 23 April 1629.1
     He was appointed Knight on 18 March 1606.1 He was created 1st Baronet Moody [England] on 11 March 1622. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Malmesbury in 1626.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Malmesbury in 1628.1
