     Lt.-Col. John Ussher was born on 3 February 1794.1 He was the son of John Ussher and Lucinda McAlpine.1 He died on 21 February 1867 at age 73.1
     Lt.-Col. John Ussher fought in the Napoleonic Wars in 1815.1 He fought in the Nepal Campaign between 1816 and 1817.1 He was He was one of the guards for Napoleon between 1817 and 1821 at St. Helena.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 66th Regiment.1

     John Ussher was born on 8 June 1758.1 He was the son of Reverend John Ussher and Maria Amelia Ann Murphy.1 He married Lucinda McAlpine, daughter of Dr. Irwin McAlpine, on 20 March 1789.1 He died on 12 July 1823 at age 65.1
     John Ussher graduated from University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).1 He lived at Woodpark, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He had two other sons and three daughters.1
