     Lady Adelaide Henrietta Louisa Hortense Knox was born circa 1834 at Italy.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Knox, 2nd Earl of Ranfurly and Mary Juliana Stuart.3 She married Joseph Goff, son of Joseph Goff and Jane Stannus, on 26 September 1850.1 She died on 28 August 1911.1
     From 26 September 1850, her married name became Goff.

     Joseph Goff was born on 28 October 1817.2 He was the son of Joseph Goff and Jane Stannus.2 He married Lady Adelaide Henrietta Louisa Hortense Knox, daughter of Thomas Knox, 2nd Earl of Ranfurly and Mary Juliana Stuart, on 26 September 1850.1 He died on 26 December 1872 at age 55.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1853.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for County Tyrone.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.2 He lived at Hale Park, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Barton Grange, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2

     General Thomas Edmond Knox was born on 16 March 1820.1 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Edmund Sexton Pery Knox and Jane Sophia Hope-Vere.2 He married Lucy Diana Maunsell, daughter of Venerable William Wray Maunsell and Charlotte Warburton, on 22 October 1846.1 He died on 27 May 1898 at age 78.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Norfolk Regiment.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Lucy Diana Maunsell was the daughter of Venerable William Wray Maunsell and Charlotte Warburton.2,3 She married General Thomas Edmond Knox, son of Admiral Hon. Edmund Sexton Pery Knox and Jane Sophia Hope-Vere, on 22 October 1846.1 She died on 1 March 1888.1
     From 22 October 1846, her married name became Knox.

     Thomas Francis Edmond Knox was born on 20 October 1847.1 He was the son of General Thomas Edmond Knox and Lucy Diana Maunsell.2 He married Caroline Woodburn Morley, daughter of John Evelyn Kingston Morley and Caroline Juliana Gregory, on 13 July 1878 at Chapel en le Firth, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 8 February 1885 at age 37 at Biarritz, FranceG, without issue.1,3 His will (dated at £604 17s 5d) was proven (by probate) on 30 May 1885.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Hussars.1 He lived at 142 Cromwell Road, South Kensington, London, EnglandG.3
