     Margaret Mathers Preshaw was born on 10 March 1837 at Fettercain, Kincardineshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of William Fisher Preshaw and Isabella Will Ogilvy.1 She married, firstly, Henry Sevier in 1854 at Australia.1 She married, secondly, Henry Thomas Hewan Archdall, son of Thomas Hewan Archdall and Henrietta Sarah Sutton, in 1877 at Victoria, Australia.1
     From 1854, her married name became Sevier.1 From 1877, her married name became Archdall.1

     Colonel Thomas Lumsden is the son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh.2 He married Hay Burnett, daughter of Peter Burnett of Elrick, in 1821.1
     Colonel Thomas Lumsden gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Bengal Artillery.1 He lived at Belhelvie, Scotland.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     William James Lumsden was the son of Hary Lumsden and Catherine McVeagh.2 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of Matthew Thompson.1 He married, thirdly, Wilhelmina Stewart Leith, daughter of Colonel Forbes Leith.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Margaret Arbuthnott, daughter of John Arbuthnott, 8th Viscount of Arbuthnott and Margaret Ogilvy, on 5 August 1837.1 He died on 27 August 1875.1
     He acquired a fortune in the Bombay Civil Service.1 He purchased the estates of Balmedie, Newtyle, Balthain and Johnston in Leslie.1 He lived at Balmedie, Scotland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
