     Colonel Bruce John David Lumsden was born on 23 July 1907.1 He was the son of Colonel Henry Richmond William Lumsden and Ethel Gordon Davies.2 He married Elizabeth Andrew in 1935.1 He died on 30 April 1965 at age 57.1
     Colonel Bruce John David Lumsden gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Marines.1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 9 May 1961.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He was Sword Bearer to the City of London.1
