     From 19 July 1844, her married name became le Croix.

     Colonel Francis Cunynghame was born on 19 November 1771 at Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of Sir William Augustus Cunynghame of Milncraig, 4th Bt. and Frances Myrton.3 He married Jane Whitefoord, daughter of Major Sir John Whitefoord, 3rd Bt. and Anne Cartwright, on 8 July 1805.1 He died on 19 September 1816 at age 44, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel.1
