     Major Amyas Henry Stafford Northcote was born on 13 February 1916.3 He is the son of Sir Geoffry Alexander Stafford Northcote and Edith Juliet Mary Adams.2 He married Mollie Gordon Buchanan Scott, daughter of Major Gordon Buchanan Scott, on 6 June 1941.3 He died on 6 March 1944 at age 28 at Burma, killed in action.3
     Major Amyas Henry Stafford Northcote gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Prince of Wales's Volunteers.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the South Lancashire Regiment.3 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).3
