     Thomas Hastings Henry Crossley was born on 8 August 1846.1 He was the son of Francis Crossley and Elizabeth Helen Irwin.2 He married Agnes Irwin, daughter of Colonel Frederick Chidley Irwin.1 He died on 23 March 1926 at age 79.1
     Thomas Hastings Henry Crossley graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was Professor of Greek at Bristol University, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was Professor of Greek at Belfast University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.).1
