     Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie is the son of Walter Oliphant of Aberdalgy and Elizabeth Bruce.2 He married unknown Home, daughter of Sir Thomas Home of that Ilk and Nicole Papedy.3 He died before 1417.1
     On 10 December 1388 he had a charter of confirmation of his lands.1
