Sir Charles Grave Hudson, 1st Bt. was born on 3 April 1730.1 He was the son of Joseph Hudson and Sarah Plowman.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Susannah Palmer, daughter of Henry Palmer and Elizabeth Borrett, on 8 March 1766.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Holford, daughter of Peter Holford, on 13 January 1806.1 He died on 24 October 1813 at age 83.1
He was director of the South Sea Company.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1784.1 He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Hudson, of Wanlip Hall, co. Leicester [Great Britain] on 28 July 1791.1

Catherine Susannah Palmer was born in March 1742.2 She was the daughter of Henry Palmer and Elizabeth Borrett.2 She married Sir Charles Grave Hudson, 1st Bt., son of Joseph Hudson and Sarah Plowman, on 8 March 1766.1 She died on 24 January 1805 at age 62.1

John Samuel Hudson was the son of Sir Charles Grave Hudson, 1st Bt. and Catherine Susannah Palmer.2 He married Maria Allen, daughter of Ralph Allen, on 14 January 1822.1 He died on 17 May 1832, without issue.1
