     Iris Averil Neave was born on 2 April 1918.1 She was the daughter of Sheffield Alrey Neave and Dorothy Middleton.2 She married Sir Frank Milton on 4 February 1954.1 She died on 14 September 1993 at age 75 at Yeovil District Hospital, Yeovil, Somerset, EnglandG.3
     She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 4 February 1954, her married name became Milton.
