     Robert Munro of Foulis was the son of Hector Munro of Foulis and Margaret Macleod of Harris.2 He married Margaret Dunbar, daughter of Sir Alexander Dunbar of Westfield and Isobel Sutherland.1 He died on 8 September 1547, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 8 September 1547.1

     Sir Alexander Dunbar of Westfield was born illegitimately.2 He was the son of James Dunbar, 4th Earl of Moray and Isobel of Innes.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir Alexander Dunbar of Westfield and Isobel Sutherland was signed on 3 January 1451/52.2 He died on 10 March 1497/98.2
     He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Moray.2 He inherited the lands of Carnoustie, Cluny and others from his father.2 He lived before 1450 at Westfield, Morayshire, ScotlandG.2

     Robert Munro of Foulis was the son of Robert Munro of Foulis and Margaret Dunbar.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Ogilvy, daughter of James Ogilvy of Cardell.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Ross, daughter of Alexander Ross, 9th of Balnagowan and Janet Sinclair.2 He died on 4 November 1588.1 He died, He also had one other daughter by his first wife and a further two sons by his second wife.1
