     Brig.-Gen. Arthur Blair was the son of Captain James J. Blair.² He married Elizabeth Mary Hoskyns, daughter of Colonel Sir Chandos Hoskyns, 10th Bt. and Jean Bannatyne Latham, on 11 June 1914.¹ He died on 4 February 1947.¹
     Brig.-Gen. Arthur Blair was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹

     Sir Leigh Hoskyns, 11th Bt. was born on 14 February 1850.¹ He was the son of Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt. and Phyllis Emma Peyton.² He married Frances Hester Frederica Bowles, daughter of John Samuel Bowles, on 17 January 1882.¹ He died on 12 September 1923 at age 73, without surviving male issue.¹
     Sir Leigh Hoskyns, 11th Bt. graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He was Crown Prosecutor for Griqualand West.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1907.¹ He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Hoskyns, of Harewood, co. Hereford [E., 1676] on 22 July 1914.¹

     Frances Hester Frederica Bowles was the daughter of John Samuel Bowles.² She married Sir Leigh Hoskyns, 11th Bt., son of Rev. Sir John Leigh Hoskyns, 9th Bt. and Phyllis Emma Peyton, on 17 January 1882.¹ She died on 20 January 1941.¹
     From 17 January 1882, her married name became Hoskyns.
