     Sir John Musgrave Horsfall, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 August 1915.¹ He was the son of Sir John Donald Horsfall, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Musgrave.² He married Cassandra Nora Bernardine Wright, daughter of George Wright, on 22 February 1940.¹ He died on 12 January 2005 at age 89 at Yorkshire, England.³
     Sir John Musgrave Horsfall, 3rd Bt. was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Leicestershire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in Burma.¹ He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1946.¹ He was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration (T.D.) (and clasp (1951)) in 1949.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Duke of Wellington's (W R) Regiment.¹ He was joint managing director of John C. Horsfall & Sons, worsted spinners between 1954 and 1980.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1959.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for North Yorkshire in 1974.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Horsfall, of Hayfield, Glusburn, co. Yorks [U.K., 1909] in 1975.⁵ He lived in 2003 at Greenfield House, Embsay, Skipton, Yorkshire, North Riding, England.¹

     Sir Edward John Wright Horsfall, 4th Bt. was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Leicestershire, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Horsfall, of Hayfield, Glusburn, co. Yorks [U.K., 1909] on 12 January 2005.³
