     Walter Ewart Gilbey was born on 30 June 1886.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Walter Gilbey, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Mary Fowlie.² He married Alice Dora Sim, daughter of Archibald Coysgarne Sim, on 18 April 1912.¹ He and Alice Dora Sim were divorced in 1933.¹ He died on 18 November 1941 at age 55.¹
     Walter Ewart Gilbey gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 16th Battalion, London Regiment.¹

     Alice Dora Sim was the daughter of Archibald Coysgarne Sim.² She married Walter Ewart Gilbey, son of Sir Henry Walter Gilbey, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Mary Fowlie, on 18 April 1912.¹ She and Walter Ewart Gilbey were divorced in 1933.¹ She died on 9 February 1961.¹

     Sir Walter Derek Gilbey, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 March 1913.¹ He was the son of Walter Ewart Gilbey and Alice Dora Sim.² He married Elizabeth Mary Campbell, daughter of Colonel Keith Gordon Campbell and Marjorie Syfret, on 21 July 1948.¹ He died on 27 October 1991 at age 78.^1,3
     Sir Walter Derek Gilbey, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Derek.⁴ He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.⁴ He fought in the Lieutenant, Black Watch.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Gilbey, of Elsenham Hall, Essex [U.K., 1893] on 11 April 1945.¹

     Camilla Elizabeth Gilbey was born on 24 November 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Walter Derek Gilbey, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Campbell.² She married Sir Christopher St. John Frederick, 11th Bt. on 21 July 1990.¹
     From 21 July 1990, her married name became Frederick.
