     Sir William Quartus Ewart, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 June 1844.² He was the son of Sir William Ewart, 1st Bt. and Isabella Kelso Mathewson.³ He married Mary Warren Heard, daughter of Robert Heard, on 23 November 1876.¹ He died on 17 October 1919 at age 75.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was invested as a Knight of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.).¹ He was head of William Ewart & Son.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Belfast.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Ewart, of Glenmachan, co. Down [U.K., 1887] on 1 August 1889.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1897.¹ He lived at Glenmachan, County Down, Ireland.¹

     Robert Heard lived at Pallastown, County Cork, Ireland.¹ He lived at Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹

     Mary Warren Heard was the daughter of Robert Heard.² She married Sir William Quartus Ewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Ewart, 1st Bt. and Isabella Kelso Mathewson, on 23 November 1876.¹ She died on 26 February 1929.¹
      From 23 November 1876, her married name became Ewart.

     Sir Robert Heard Ewart, 3rd Bt. was born on 5 November 1879.¹ He was the son of Sir William Quartus Ewart, 2nd Bt. and Mary Warren Heard.² He died on 12 August 1939 at age 59, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was a director of William Ewart & Son.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Ewart, of Glenmachan, co. Down [U.K., 1887] on 17 October 1919.¹

     Charles Gordon Ewart was born on 21 June 1885.¹ He was the son of Sir William Quartus Ewart, 2nd Bt. and Mary Warren Heard.² He married Mary Elizabeth Greeves, daughter of Joseph Malcomson Greeves and Mary Margretta Gribbon, on 14 December 1915.³ He died on 4 August 1936 at age 51, without issue.³
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was invested as a Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.).¹
