     Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt. was born on 11 October 1818.1 He was the son of John Jaffray and Agnes Wilson.2 He married Anna Munton, daughter of William Munton, on 12 February 1850.1 He died on 4 January 1901 at age 82.1
     Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt. was founder and owner of the Birmingham Daily Post in 1855.1 He was founder and chairman of the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank.1 He was founder of the Jaffray Chronic Hospital.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1888.1 He was created 1st Baronet Jaffray, of Skitls, co. Warwick [U.K.] on 8 October 1892.1 He lived at Skilts, Warwickshire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.1 He lived at Park Grove, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1

     Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 June 1852.1 He is the son of Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt. and Anna Munton.2 He married, firstly, Mabel Augusta Scott, daughter of Sir Francis Edward Scott, 3rd Bt., on 28 January 1885.1 He married, secondly, Alice Mary Galloway, daughter of Francis Galloway, on 11 May 1889.1 He died on 27 November 1914 at age 62.1
     Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Jaffray, of Skitls, co. Warwick [U.K., 1892] on 4 January 1901.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1906.1
