     Giles Philip Curtis was born on 5 March 1945.¹ He is the son of Major Philip Pinckney Curtis and Marion Wilson.² He married Sarah Anne Finney, daughter of Lt.-Col. Walter George Finney and Jean Constance Drummond, on 24 July 1971.¹
     He was educated in 1958 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G, in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Walnut Tree Cottage, Upper Wootton, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Jean Constance Drummond was born on 20 August 1914.² She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Edmund Rupert Drummond and Lady Evelyn Frances Butler.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Walter George Finney, son of Walter Finney, on 17 July 1947.¹ She died on 4 April 1997 at age 82.²
     She was Senor Commander, Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.² From 17 July 1947, her married name became Finney.¹

     Sarah Anne Finney was born on 11 May 1948.² She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Walter George Finney and Jean Constance Drummond.^2,1 She married Giles Philip Curtis, son of Major Philip Pinckney Curtis and Marion Wilson, on 24 July 1971.¹
     From 24 July 1971, her married name became Curtis.

     Rowena Mary Curtis was born on 30 May 1972.¹ She is the daughter of Giles Philip Curtis and Sarah Anne Finney.²

     Arabella Jean Curtis was born on 18 November 1975.¹ She is the daughter of Giles Philip Curtis and Sarah Anne Finney.²

     Camilla Sarah Curtis was born in 1979.¹ She is the daughter of Giles Philip Curtis and Sarah Anne Finney.²

     Gwendolen Edith Curtis was the daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert Curtis and Frances Edith Pinckney.² She married Major John Orr Ewing, son of Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing and Helen Margaret Robertson, on 23 November 1908.² She died on 20 July 1964.¹
     From 23 November 1908, her married name became Ewing.
