     Sir Francis Cyril Rose, 4th Bt. was born on 18 September 1909.¹ He was the son of Sir Cyril Stanley Rose, 3rd Bt. and Laetitia Rouy.² He married, firstly, Frederica Dorothy Violet Carrington, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Frederick Carrington and Susan Margaret Elwes, on 22 February 1943.¹ He and Frederica Dorothy Violet Carrington were divorced in 1966.¹ He married, secondly, Beryl Norris, daughter of Alfred Norris, on 7 February 1967.¹ He died in November 1979 at age 70.¹
     Sir Francis Cyril Rose, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Rose, of Montreal [U.K., 1872] on 11 July 1915.¹ He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was a painter and author.¹ He was artistic adviser to The Edinburgh Tapestry Company and Roosen Silks Ltd.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1942, in the Royal Air Force, and was invalided.¹

     Frederica Dorothy Violet Carrington is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Frederick Carrington and Susan Margaret Elwes.¹ She married, firstly, Darcy Sinclair Sproul-Boulton before 1943.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Francis Cyril Rose, 4th Bt., son of Sir Cyril Stanley Rose, 3rd Bt. and Laetitia Rouy, on 22 February 1943.¹ She and Sir Francis Cyril Rose, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1966.¹

     Captain Charles Ernest Rose was born on 11 December 1873.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Day Rose, 1st Bt. and Eliza McLean.² He died in May 1900 at age 26, killed in action.¹
     Captain Charles Ernest Rose fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.¹

     Bertram Temple Rose was born on 24 April 1875.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Day Rose, 1st Bt. and Eliza McLean.² He died on 30 March 1900 at age 24, while on active service, unmarried.¹

     Sir Frank Stanley Rose, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 April 1877.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Day Rose, 1st Bt. and Eliza McLean.² He married Daphne Gaskell, daughter of Captain Henry Brooks Gaskell, on 31 March 1910.¹ He died on 26 October 1914 at age 37, killed in action.¹
     Sir Frank Stanley Rose, 2nd Bt. gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Hussars.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Rose, of Hardwick House, Whitchurch, Oxfordshire [U.K., 1909] on 20 April 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Daphne Gaskell held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ From 31 March 1910, her married name became Rose.
