     Amabel Marion Yorke was born in 1924.1 She is the daughter of Brigadier Philip Gerard Yorke and Beryl Emila Philpotts.2 She married Brigadier Robert Michael Carr, son of D. L. Carr, on 14 September 1963.1
     Amabel Marion Yorke adopted Philippa Amabel Carr.1 From 14 September 1963, her married name became Carr. She adopted Peter Robert Carr.1 She lived in 2003 at Nethercote, Church Lane, Mottisfont, Hampshire, England.1
