     Douglas Grey was born on 13 March 1915.1 He is the son of Colonel Arthur Grey and Margaret Rosaliee Teresa Mary Alleyne.2 He married, firstly, Elinor Violet Kay, daughter of Colonel D'Arcy Hemsworth Kay, on 19 September 1935.1 He and Elinor Violet Kay were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Emelainne Clementine van Coppenolle, daughter of Hector Leon Marie van Coppenolle, on 21 January 1950.1
     Douglas Grey was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He was joined Imperial Airways and subsequently BOAC, Department of Traffic in 1933.1 He was Sales Director of BEA.1 In 1961 (an unknown value).1
