Sir Harry Verelst Darell, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 December 1768.1 He was the son of Sir Lionel Darell, 1st Bt. and Isabella Tullie.2 He married Amelia Mary Anne Beecher, daughter of William Beecher, on 2 June 1809.1 He died on 13 April 1828 at age 59 at India.1
He was a senior merchant on the Bengal establishment and Honourable East India Company, and commercial resident of Eatwah and Calpu.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Darell, of Ancaster House, Richmond Hill, Surrey [G.B., 1795] on 30 October 1803.1
