     Lionel Darell was born in 1708.1 He was the son of Edward Darell and Sabina Hall.2 He married Honoria Hardwick, daughter of Humphrey Hardwick, on 13 June 1734.1 He died on 19 October 1783.1

     Sir Lionel Darell, 1st Bt. was born on 25 September 1742.1 He was the son of Lionel Darell and Honoria Hardwick.2 He married Isabella Tullie, daughter of Timothy Tullie, on 30 July 1766.1 He died on 30 October 1803 at age 61.1
     Sir Lionel Darell, 1st Bt. was Chairman of the Court of Directors, Honourable East Iindia Company.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the India-House Volunteer Regiment.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hendon between 1784 and 1802.1 He was created 1st Baronet Darell, of Ancaster House, Richmond Hill, Surrey [Great Britain] on 12 May 1795.1
