John Pigott was the son of William Pigott.2 He married, firstly, Gertrude Southwell, daughter of Sir Thomas Southwell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Starkey.3 He married, secondly, Margaret Colclough, daughter of Sir Caesar Colclough, 2nd Bt. and Frances Clarke, in 1696.4 He died on 8 May 1717.1 He was also reported to have died on 8 December 1717.3
