     Ellen Jane Bennett was born on 4 March 1868 at Templeton, Canterbury, New ZealandG.1 She was the daughter of Henry Bennett and Margaret Bennett.1 She married John Moffat Hampton, son of John Hampton and Mary Ann Henderson, on 26 January 1888 at St. Stephens Church, Ashburton, New ZealandG.2,3 She died on 18 August 1943 at age 75.4 She was buried at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Ashburton, New ZealandG, plot 1499.4
     She was a student at Wakanui School, Wakanui, Canterbury, New ZealandG, in September 1876.5 From 26 January 1888, her married name became Hampton.2

     Susannah Bennett was born on 21 September 1872 at Templeton, Canterbury, New ZealandG.1 She was the daughter of Henry Bennett and Margaret Bennett.1 She married Joseph Rountree, son of Thomas Rountree and Rachel Allen, circa 1892.2 She died on 24 January 1937 at age 64 at Carters Terrace, Tinwald, Ashburton, New ZealandG.3,4 She was buried at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Ashburton, New ZealandG, plot 1843.4
     From circa 1892, her married name became Rountree.2 Susannah lived with her husband at Tinwald at Carters Terrace, Ashburton, New ZealandG, in 1922.5

     Charles Bennett was born on 9 November 1874 at Wakanui, Canterbury, New ZealandG.1,2 He was the son of Henry Bennett and Margaret Bennett.1 He married Sarah Stalker, daughter of William Stalker and Jane Smith, on 7 May 1901.3 He died on 9 July 1942 at age 67.4 He was buried on 12 July 1942 at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Old Section, Ashburton, New ZealandG, plot 177.4,5
     He was a student at Wakanui School, Wakanui, Canterbury, New ZealandG.6 He was a steam engine driver and owner from 1900 to 1920 at Tinwald, Ashburton, New ZealandG.6 He was a chaff-cutting machine owner, and coal merchant for Bennet and Walls from 1921 to 1924 at Archibald Street, Tinwald, Ashburton, New ZealandG.7 He was a farmer from 1925 to 1928 at Elgin, Canterbury, New ZealandG.7 He lived at Tinwald at Ashburton, New ZealandG, from 1928 to 1937.5 He lived at Christchurch, New ZealandG, from 1937 to 1942.5
