     John Dugdale was born on 12 August 1823.1 He was the son of James Dugdale and Ellen Martland.2 He married Charlotte Mary Artindale, daughter of Robert Artindale, on 16 May 1860.1 He died on 29 December 1881 at age 58.1
     At Crathorne, Yorkshire, North Riding, England, (an unknown value).1 He lived at Irwell Bank, Eccles, Lancashire, England.1 He also had three daughters.1
