     Mary Babette Jacques was the daughter of Joseph Hodgson Jacques.1 She married, firstly, Basil Butcher.1 She married, secondly, Eric Leigh, son of Sir John Leigh, 1st Bt. and Norah Marjorie New, on 14 December 1939.1 She died on 18 January 1993.1
     Her married name became Butcher.1 From 14 December 1939, her married name became Leigh.1
