     Lieutenant Albert Marcus Rueff was the son of Leon Rueff.2 He married Veronica Mary Pearson, daughter of Major Hon. Bernard Clive Pearson and Hon. Alicia Mary Dorothea Knatchbull-Hugessen, on 17 May 1940.1 He died on 8 April 1941 at Derna, Libya, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 9th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Tower Hamlets Rifles.1
