     Robert Gladstone was born in 1833.3 He was the son of Thomas Steuart Gladstone and Elizabeth Field Clark.2,3 He married Mary Ellen Gladstone, daughter of Robertson Gladstone and Mary Ellen Jones, on 16 February 1860.1 He died in 1919.3
