Sir Cornelius Marshall Warmington, 1st Bt. was born on 5 June 1842.2 He was the son of Edward Warmington and Mary Payne.3 He married Ann Winch, daughter of Edward Winch, on 4 February 1871.2 He died on 12 December 1908 at age 66.2
Sir Cornelius Marshall Warmington, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Marshall.2 He was a practising solicitor in 1864.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1869 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1881.2 He held the office of Bencher of the Middle Temple in 1885.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for West Monmouthshire between 1885 and 1895.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.2 He held the office of Treasurer of the Middle Temple in 1904.2 He was created 1st Baronet Warmington, of Pembridge Square, Royal Borough of Kensington [U.K.] on 28 July 1908.2
