     Lieutenant Richard Blakeney was born in 1788.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney and Frances Bradley.¹ He married Susan Maria Purdon, daughter of James Batty Purdon and Magdalen Ireland, on 21 August 1816.¹ He died on 26 September 1848.¹
     He was aboard the HMS Horatio, mentioned in despatches from Captain Sir George Scott in 1809.¹ He was also aboard the HMS African, and the HMS Queen Charlotte.¹ He was invalided from the military in 1819, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the 14th Royal Marine Light Infantry.¹ He lived at Ballymurry, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹

     Susan Maria Purdon was the daughter of James Batty Purdon and Magdalen Ireland.¹ She married Lieutenant Richard Blakeney, son of Lieutenant John Edward Blakeney and Frances Bradley, on 21 August 1816.¹ She died on 24 February 1863.¹
     From 21 August 1816, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Susanna Long was born on 22 July 1717.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Long and Jane Beeston.¹ She died on 16 April 1829 at age 111 at South Audley Street, London, England^G.¹

     Anna O'Connor was the daughter of Lieutenant Richard O'Connor.¹ She married Rev. Canon Richard Paul Blakeney, son of Lieutenant Richard Blakeney and Susan Maria Purdon, on 1 April 1841.¹ She died on 2 July 1855.¹
     From 1 April 1841, her married name became Blakeney.¹

     Lieutenant Richard O'Connor gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Roscommon, County Roscommon, Ireland^G.¹

     Susan Blakeney was the daughter of Rev. Canon Richard Paul Blakeney and Anna O'Connor.¹ She married Reverend Albert Wade on 10 October 1865.¹
     From 10 October 1865, her married name became Wade.¹
