     Lady Mary Bruce was the daughter of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Mary Nisbet.1 She married Rt. Hon. Robert Adam Nisbet Hamilton, son of Philip Dundas and Margaret Wedderburn, on 28 January 1828.1 She died on 21 December 1883.1
     From 28 January 1828, her married name became Nisbet Hamilton.1

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He was given the name of Robert Adam Dundas at birth.1 His name was legally changed to Robert Adam Christopher.1 He held the office of Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in 1852.1 He lived at Bloxham Hall, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1

     Lady Matilda Harriet Bruce was the daughter of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Mary Nisbet.1 She married Sir John Maxwell of Pollock, 8th Bt., son of Sir John Maxwell of Auldhouse, 7th Bt. and Hannah Anne Gardiner, on 14 October 1839.1 She died on 31 August 1857.1
     From 14 October 1839, her married name became Maxwell.1

Sir John Maxwell of Pollock, 8th Bt.1

     Sir John Maxwell of Pollock, 8th Bt. was born on 12 May 1791.2 He was the son of Sir John Maxwell of Auldhouse, 7th Bt. and Hannah Anne Gardiner.2 He married Lady Matilda Harriet Bruce, daughter of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Mary Nisbet, on 14 October 1839.1 He died on 6 June 1865 at age 74, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Renfrewshire between 1818 and 1830.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lanarkshire between 1832 and 1837.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Maxwell, of Pollok, co. Renfrew [N.S., 1682] on 30 July 1844.2

     Maj.-Gen. Hon. Robert Bruce was born on 15 March 1813.1 He was the son of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Oswald.1 He married Katherine Mary Shaw-Stewart, daughter of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenhall and Blackhall, 6th Bt. and Eliza Mary Farquhar, on 2 May 1848.1 He died on 27 June 1862 at age 49, without issue.1
     He held the office of Governor to HRH THe Prince of Wales (later HM Kiing Edward VII.)1

     Katherine Mary Shaw-Stewart was the daughter of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenhall and Blackhall, 6th Bt. and Eliza Mary Farquhar.1,2 She married Maj.-Gen. Hon. Robert Bruce, son of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Oswald, on 2 May 1848.1 She died on 3 December 1889, without issue.2
     She was appointed Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) 4th Class.1 From 2 May 1848, her married name became Bruce.1 She held the office of Bedchamber Women-in-Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria in 1866.1

     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Envoy to China.1 He held the office of Minister to the U.S.A. in 1865.1 He was Agent and Consul-General to Egypt.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1

Thomas Charles Bruce was born on 15 February 1825.1 He was the son of General Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Kincardine and Elizabeth Oswald.1 He married Sarah Caroline Thornhill, daughter of Thomas Thornhill and Martha Mary Anne Waddington, on 19 November 1863.1 He died on 23 November 1890 at age 65.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portsmouth between 1874 and 1885.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire.1
