     Major-Gen. Latham William Blacker was born on 18 June 1829.1 He was the son of Latham Blacker and Catherine Miller.1 He married Harriette de Maine Smith, daughter of John J. Smith, on 10 December 1851.1 He died in 1916.1
     He fought in the Zulu War in 1854.1 He was a Deputy Controller-General of the Army.1

     From 7 October 1847, her married name became Mainwaring.2

Anthony Mattei and Marie Cenezka Lesyczinska.1 She married Major Latham Charles Miller Blacker, son of Major-Gen. Latham William Blacker and Harriette de Maine Smith, on 11 November 1885.1 She died on 4 June 1947 at age 87 at Kilballyowen, County Limerick, Ireland.1
     From 11 November 1885, her married name became Blacker.1
