     Hon. Henry Butler-Johnstone was born on 28 August 1809.1 He was the son of James Butler, 13th/23rd Baron Dunboyne and Ellen O'Connell.1 He married Isabella Margaret Munro-Johnstone, daughter of Colonel Sir Alexander Munro, on 14 May 1834.1 He died on 1 April 1879 at age 69.1

     Isabella Margaret Munro-Johnstone was the daughter of Colonel Sir Alexander Munro.1 She married Hon. Henry Butler-Johnstone, son of James Butler, 13th/23rd Baron Dunboyne and Ellen O'Connell, on 14 May 1834.1 She died in 1873.1
     From 14 May 1834, her married name became Butler-Johnstone.1

Henry Butler-Johnstone and Isabella Margaret Munro-Johnstone.1 He married, firstly, Maria Irma de Soyres, Comtesse de Soyres on 17 November 1877.1 He married, secondly, Elaine Johnson, daughter of Felix Johnson, on 29 December 1896.1 He died on 17 October 1902 at age 64, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Henry Alexander Butler-Johnstone at birth.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Canterbury in 1862.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Ross-shire.1
