     Michael Alleyne Becher was born in 1799.2 He was the son of Richard Hedges Becher and Mary Alleyne.1 He married Elizabeth Sherrard, daughter of David Sherrard, on 2 February 1831 at Glanmire Church, Cork, County Cork, Ireland.2 He died on 26 March 1850.2
     Michael Alleyne Becher lived at Ballyduvane, Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland.1

     Amelia St. George Becher was the daughter of Richard Hedges Becher and Mary Alleyne.1 She married Lieutenant Robert Stowards, son of George Stowards and Sarah Campion, on 5 October 1824 at Creagh Church, Creagh, County Cork, Ireland.2
     From 5 October 1824, her married name became Stowards.2
