     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He lived at Scotstoun, Peebles-shire, Scotland.1

     Mary Louisa Cholmondeley was the daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Pitt Cholmondeley and Hon. Mary Leigh.1 She married Sir Charles Mordaunt, 10th Bt., son of Sir John Mordaunt, 9th Bt. and Caroline Sophia Murray, on 24 April 1878.1 She died on 10 June 1947.1
      Her married name became Mordaunt.

     Reverend Hon. Henry Pitt Cholmondeley was born on 15 June 1820.1 He was the son of Thomas Cholmondeley, 1st Baron Delamere of Vale Royal and Henrietta Elizabeth Williams-Wynn.1 He married Hon. Mary Leigh, daughter of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes, on 4 May 1848 at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, England.2 He died on 14 April 1905 at age 84.1
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Hon. Canon of Gloucester.1 He held the office of Rural Dean of Stow.1 He was the Rector at Broadwell-cum-Adlestrop, Gloucestershire, England.1

Sir George Chetwode, 6th Bt. was born on 20 July 1823 at Chesterton, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was the son of Reverend George Chetwode and Charlotte Anne Walhouse.3 He married Alice Jane Bass, daughter of Michael Thomas Bass and Eliza Jane Arden, on 21 October 1868.4 He died on 28 June 1905 at age 81.1
     He was commissioned in 1840, in the service of the 4th Foot.2 He fought in the Crimean War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 8th Hussars.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet Chetwode, of Oakley, co. Stafford [E., 1700] on 8 September 1873.1
