     Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog was the son of James Abercromby of Birkenbog.2 He married Elizabeth Bethune, daughter of David Bethune, 2nd of Melgund and Lucretia Bethune, in 1602.2 He died between 1641 and 1648.1
     He held the office of Grand Falconer in Scotland to King Charles I.1 He lived at Birkenbog, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1
