Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog1

     Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog was the son of James Abercromby of Birkenbog.2 He married Elizabeth Bethune, daughter of David Bethune, 2nd of Melgund and Lucretia Bethune, in 1602.2 He died between 1641 and 1648.1
     He held the office of Grand Falconer in Scotland to King Charles I.1 He lived at Birkenbog, Banffshire, Scotland.1
     He also had two daughters.2

     Elizabeth Bethune was the daughter of David Bethune, 2nd of Melgund and Lucretia Bethune.2 She married Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog, son of James Abercromby of Birkenbog, in 1602.3 She died in November 1623.2
     She lived at Balfour, Fife, Scotland.1 She was also known as Jean.2 From 1602, her married name became Abercromby.3
