     William Woolsey was born on 20 August 1818.1 He was the son of Captain John Woolsey and Janet Jameson.1 He married, firstly, Frances Rose Vesey, daughter of Samuel Vesey and Waller Kearney, in 1846.1 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Heath Jary, daughter of William Heath Jary, in 1868.1 He died on 11 May 1887 at age 68, without issue.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1868.1 He lived at Milestown, Castlebellingham, County Louth, IrelandG.1 He lived at Priorland House, Dundalk, County Louth, IrelandG.1

Robert Jameson Woolsey1

     He lived at Castle Cosey, Castlebellingham, County Louth, IrelandG.1

Elizabeth Lucy Willis1

     Elizabeth Lucy Willis was the daughter of Reverend Henry de Laval Willis.1 She married John Woolsey, son of Captain John Woolsey and Janet Jameson, in 1865 in a childless marriage, they were cousins.1 She died on 10 November 1870, aged 26.1
     From 1865, her married name became Woolsey.1
