     William Elliot Cairnes was born in 1787.1 He married Mary Anne Woolsey, daughter of Reverend William Woolsey and Mary Anne Bellingham.2 He died in 1865.2 He was also reported to have died, in 1863.1
     William Elliot Cairnes purchased Stameen in 1825.1 He lived at Killyfaddy, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 He lived at Stameen, County Meath, Ireland.2
