     Netterville John Barron was born on 17 August 1837.1 He was the son of John Netterville Barron and Emily Watkins.1 He married Louisa Bridget Twiss, daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Twiss and Louisa Bridget Ouchterlony, on 5 September 1865 at Kensington, London, England.1
     He was in the service of the 5th (Northumberland) Fusiliers.1

Lt.-Gen. John Twiss1

     Lt.-Gen. John Twiss was born on 21 February 1798 at Marylebone, London, England.2 He was the son of Francis Twiss and Frances Kemble.3 He married Louisa Bridget Ouchterlony on 8 August 1821 at Badsey, Worcestershire, England.2 He died on 24 January 1866 at age 67.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Engineers.1

Brig.-Gen. Netterville Guy Barron1

     Brig.-Gen. Netterville Guy Barron was born on 8 December 1867.1 He was the son of Netterville John Barron and Louisa Bridget Twiss.1 He married Esme Katherine Mary Lloyd, daughter of Robert Borradaile Lloyd, on 5 September 1899 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 21 April 1945 at age 77.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1887, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, during which he was wounded. He was mentioned in despatches.1 He was the Commander of the Heavy Artillery XVII Corps between 1917 and 1919.1 He was appointed Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He retired from the military in 1920, with the rank of Brigadier-General, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Divisional Commissioner Munster between 1920 and 1922.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1923.1
