     Ambrose Barcroft was born on 22 August 1707.1 He was the son of William Barcroft and Ellen Inman.1 He married Abigail Wilcocks, daughter of Thomas Wilcocks, in 1733.1 His will was probated on 24 December 1760.1
     He was a Freeman on 29 September 1730 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
