     Marianne Heaton was baptised on 1 April 1765.2 She was the daughter of John Heaton and Mary Bridges.1,2 She married John Thomas Ellis, son of Brabazon Ellis and Mary Sewel, on 15 January 1786.1
     From 15 January 1786, her married name became Ellis.1

     John Heaton was born circa 1738.2 He was the son of unknown Heaton.2 He married, firstly, Mary Bridges on 31 January 1764.2 He married, secondly, Mary Carr on 18 November 1803.2 He died in September 1818.2
     He lived at Bedfords, Essex, EnglandG.1 He was agent and auditor to 5th Duke of Devonshire.2

     Julia Ellis was the daughter of John Thomas Ellis and Marianne Heaton.1 She married Reverend Henry Baugh Thorold, son of Reverend George Thorold and Elizabeth Baugh, on 1 July 1829.2 She died on 27 January 1871.1
     From 1 July 1829, her married name became Thorold.1

     Reverend Henry Baugh Thorold was born in April 1805.2 He was the son of Reverend George Thorold and Elizabeth Baugh.1,3 He married Julia Ellis, daughter of John Thomas Ellis and Marianne Heaton, on 1 July 1829.2 He died in 1885.2
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was Rector at Hougham-cum-Marston, Lincolnshire, England.2

     Reverend George Thorold was born in May 1776.2 He was the son of Sir John Thorold, 9th Bt. and Jane Hayford.1,3 He married Elizabeth Baugh, daughter of Benjamin Baugh, on 1 May 1804.2 He died on 27 September 1823 at age 47.2
     He was Rector at Hougham-cum-Marston, Lincolnshire, England.2

Sir John Thorold, 9th Bt.1

     Sir John Thorold, 9th Bt. was born on 18 December 1734.2 He is the son of Sir John Thorold, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth Ayton.3 He married Jane Hayford, daughter of Millington Hayford, on 18 March 1771.2 He died on 25 February 1815 at age 80.3
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Thorold, of Marston, Lincoln [E., 1642] on 5 June 1775.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1779 and 1796.2
