     Victor Adolf Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt was born on 18 July 1883 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany. He was the son of Alexis Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt and Pauline Emma Augusta Hermine Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont. He married, firstly, Stephanie Alexandrine Hermine Thyra Xenia Bathildis Ingeborg Prinzessin zu Schaumburg-Lippe, daughter of Friedrich Prinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe and Louise Caroline Josephine Sophie Thyra Olga zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Denmark, on 9 September 1921 at Ratiboritz. He married, secondly, Rosa Helene Prinzessin zu Solms-Hohensolms-Lich on 30 June 1931. He died on 4 June 1961 at age 77.
     Victor Adolf Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt gained the title of 5th Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt.

     From 2 February 1963, her married name became Jeffrey.1
