     Isabella Forbes was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Forbes and Isabella Macleod.1,2 She married, firstly, Beauchamp Bartholomew Newton, son of Colonel Philip Newton and Sarah Westrop.3 She married, secondly, James Kearney Aylward-Kearney, son of Nicholas John Patrick Aylward and Elizabeth Kearney, in 1853.1 She died in August 1881, without issue.3
     Her married name became Newton.3 From 1853, her married name became Aylward.1 From 1876, her married name became Aylward-Kearney.

     Beauchamp Bartholomew Newton was born on 5 November 1798.2 He was the son of Colonel Philip Newton and Sarah Westrop.1,2 He married Isabella Forbes, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Forbes and Isabella Macleod.2 He died on 21 August 1850 at age 51.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1850.2 He lived at Rathwade, County Carlow, IrelandG.1

Colonel Philip Newton1

     Colonel Philip Newton was born in 1770.2 He was the son of Bartholomew Newton and Anne Bernard.2 He married Sarah Westrop, daughter of Beauchamp Bagenal, in October 1785.1,2 He died in October 1833.1
     He was described as formerly in the Austrian service.2 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1796.2 He lived at Dunleckney Manor, Bagenalstown, County Carlow, IrelandG.2 He lived at Benekerry, Carlow, County Carlow, IrelandG.1

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Forbes was born in September 1760.2 He was the son of Sir Arthur Forbes of Craigievar, 4th Bt. and Margaret Strachan.3 He married Isabella Macleod, daughter of Roderick Macleod, on 1 January 1805.2 He died in December 1850 at age 90.2
     He was Aide-de-Camp to Sir Ralph Abercromby.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 32nd Regiment.1

Victor George Toler-Aylward was born on 11 October 1897.1 He was the son of Hector James Charles Toler-Aylward and Emily Mary Eliza Butler.1 He married Barbara Eleanor Margaret Abel-Smith, daughter of Major Edwin Philip Abel-Smith and Gertrude Mary Hodgson, on 25 October 1933 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1,2 He died on 6 June 1976 at age 78 at Daventry, Northamptonshire, England.3
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, when he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Dragoon Guards (The Queen's Bays.)1 He was the Secretary for The Grafton Hunt between 1945 and 1954.1 He lived at The Grange, Moreton Pinkney, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1

     Elizabeth Surtees was the daughter of Aubone Surtees and Elizabeth Stephenson.1,2 She married John Scott, 1st Earl of Eldon, son of William Scott and Jane Atkinson, on 19 November 1772.1 She died on 28 June 1831.1
     From 19 November 1772, her married name became Scott.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Surtees was styled as Baroness Eldon on 18 July 1799. After her marriage, Elizabeth Surtees was styled as Countess of Eldon on 7 July 1821.
