     Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander was born in 1771.1 He was the son of Robert Alexander and Anne McCullogh.1 He married Mary Bracken, daughter of Reverend Thomas Bracken, on 1 February 1808.1 He died on 20 August 1839.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Old Sarum.1 He was Director, East India Company (E.I.C.)1

Mary Bracken1

     Mary Bracken was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Bracken.1 She married Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander, son of Robert Alexander and Anne McCullogh, on 1 February 1808.1 She died on 13 November 1868.1
     From 1 February 1808, her married name became Alexander.1

     Captain Caledon Du Pré Alexander was born on 16 November 1817.1 He was the son of Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander and Mary Bracken.1 He married Caroline Ewing, daughter of James Ewing, on 11 March 1843.1 He died on 18 July 1884 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Life Guards.1 He lived at Auberies, Essex, EnglandG.1

     From 11 March 1843, her married name became Alexander.1
